The Tesla Factory in Fremont, California is nearly impossible to describe in words. It is probably the single best proof that Tesla’s “green company” facade is a lie. You can search the world, as we have, and you will not find another auto assembly plant in similar condition. Tesla cars priced as high as $130,000 are made here, most of them in tents.

Since September 2018 the Shorty Air Force (SAF), a team of airplane and drone pilots, has flown occasional photo missions over the factory and other Tesla facilities in Fremont. Except for cropping, contrast adjustments for clarity and watermarking, the photos have not been altered.
